Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Behead the Tyrant come together as the blood code in the winter of 2005. Over the coarse of a year and a half, the band finalized their line-up and played their first show in December 2006. Behead the Tyrant formed from a variety of other local bands such as Ailinel, Cloud Nine and Prelude to War.
